A minor role in the context of the play, this is a challenging role for a first time actress.  Brief but powerful, the townswoman calls attention to “social injustice and industrial inequality.”  Her tone is forceful as she explodes from the audience aisle left.  A true personal challenge in finding one’s voice.  

With a few insightful lines this role is most challenging for its stillness while playing the character in death.
