Drama was the conduit to finding my voice. Once quiet, introverted and shy, I found inner strength in playing characters different from myself.

Theater provides a warm collaborative community through which to follow a personal journey of self-exploration. Though each individual plays their unique part, it is within the context of a collective effort.

Surrounded by the, oft-times, cold walls of a high school, drama creates a transformative space in which mentees grow into mentors, where we all build each other up in a shared experience among thespians. Nurturing each other in our craft, our bonds of friendship deepen. As we take our final bows, we feel fortunate to have invited the audience into our family.
